Authentic Indian cooking from a 400° tandoor — charcoal-fired, no shortcuts. Family-friendly, vegan-friendly, open every day of the year.
We've been cooking in Ca'n Picafort for seven years. The tandoor lights at eleven, the dal makhani simmers overnight, and the door stays open — in February, on a Wednesday, even when nothing else on the street is.
the only one with a real tandoor — and the only one where I, the cook, stop by your table to check if the spice is right.
Our tandoor is a cylindrical clay vessel, fired with charcoal and mango wood, reaching 400 °C inside. It's the only tool that makes Indian bread puff up the way it should — and the only one that turns lamb skewers tender in four minutes without drying them out.
We use the oven the way we would at home: not as a showpiece, but as the main tool. Next time you visit, ask — Mukesh shows it to anyone who wants to see.

Black urad lentils simmered overnight, finished with tomato, butter and cream. The silkiest lentil in the house — and proof that patience is an ingredient.
Kashmiri classic: tender lamb stew with Kashmiri chilli, yoghurt and toasted spices. Three hours slow, never spicy for its own sake.
